Frequently asked questions
Common questions before ordering a set.
What is the difference between prime and standby power?
Standby is the maximum rating for emergency use during a mains outage. Prime is the rating for continuous running where the set is the main power source. Model names show both, e.g. TG30 – TG32S is 30 kVA prime / 32 kVA standby.
Which engine should I choose?
Kubota suits smaller and single-phase loads; John Deere covers the broad mid-range; Cummins powers the largest industrial and continuous-duty sets. Tell us your load and we will recommend the right one.
Do you deliver across the UK?
Yes — free delivery across the UK, with same-day shipping on stocked items.
Do you provide installation and commissioning?
We advise on site preparation and provide commissioning support and documentation. Contact us with your site details.
How do I get a price?
Use the Request a Quote button on any product. We send a full datasheet and a competitive price, usually the same working day.
Can you supply single-phase generators?
Yes — several Kubota models are available single-phase (e.g. TG15 – TG17S and TG37 – TG40S).
Tell us your load and site, and we will recommend the right set.
